Eco Energy Concepts worked at the historic Settlement Building in Vancouver’s Railtown. Our efforts at the Settlement Building resulting in reduced energy expenses for the Belgard Kitchen, Freshtap Pour Systems, and most notably Postmark Brewing.
At the Settlement Building Eco Energy Concepts was able to demonstrate the flexibility of the Smartcool system with applications to HVAC, walk-in refrigeration, as well as Postmark’s process cooling. Eco utilized both ECO³™ and ECO³™ Dual products for Postmark.

Eco Energy Concepts worked with the Dueck Auto Group to reduce the cooling expenses for the dealership group.
Eco Energy conducted an extensive 6-month test starting in June through December at Canada’s largest General Motors dealership, Dueck on Marine. The extended testing period allowed for an accurate estimate of potential savings on the HVAC equipment existing at the Dueck Auto Group. Eco utilized both ECO³™ and ECO³™ Dual products for Dueck.
Through testing, Eco Energy Concepts was able to estimate the potential for energy savings at the dealership group. Not all HVAC roof top units (RTUs) were deemed to have less than three-year payback periods. With selected RTUs, Eco Energy recommended that Dueck install Smartcool on approx. 85% of their RTUs for an average savings of 25%.

Eco Energy Concepts worked with Direct Tap at their brand-new craft beverage logistics warehouse. Our efforts at the large-scale storage included external temperature monitoring to ensure target cold-storage temperatures were being maintained with the Smartcool equipment in place.
Eco Energy Concepts was able to demonstrate energy savings of ~20% on the large-scale refrigeration equipment in use for maintaining the freshness of craft beverages utilizing the Smartcool ECO³™.
